tBSm is an RJ12 splitter designed for use with all tinycontrol devices equipped with an RJ12 port.
It features 4 RJ12 connectors with support for I2C and 1-Wire, allowing sensors and modules to be easily connected. A controller (e.g. Lan Controller) should be connected to any one of the RJ12 ports, and I2C or 1-Wire sensors and expansion boards to the remaining ones.
Additionally, it is equipped with a spring connector, allowing the connection of 1-Wire sensors at a remote point using a twisted pair or other cable with a wire of approximately 0.5 mm in diameter.
Included in the set: a 6-wire RJ12 cable (20 cm) for connecting the splitter to the controller.
Warning: It is not recommended to connect:
- I2C cables longer than 3 meters,
- 1-Wire cables not provided by tinycontrol that have more than 3 wires in the RJ12 connector.
