Universal DIN rail-mounted splitter

The universal spring-terminal splitter, designed for DIN rail mounting, helps organize wiring in more complex installations using Lan Controller devices.

It is especially useful in the following scenarios:

• Connecting multiple analog sensors – allows for multiplexing the power outputs from the Lan Controller (e.g. +5 V and GND) to supply power to a larger number of sensors,
• Expanding the Modbus RTU bus – enables easy distribution of the A+ and B– lines from the Lan Controller (LK4) to multiple Modbus devices, so that each device has its own pair of terminals while remaining on a shared bus.

Connector layout

• 2 common terminal fields with 4 and 8 shared connections – ideal for distributing power lines (+5 V and GND),
• 2 terminal fields with 6 pairs of connectors – allowing connection of up to 6 devices to a single Modbus RTU bus (Lan Controller and 5 connected modules)
